  • Toper's Story

    Toper’s real name is Christopher, but prefers to be called Toper (feel free to ask him for the backstory). He is originally from Los Angeles, California and moved to Vancouver, Canada back in 2012. His heritage is Filipino and he was raised by a family of 5 with two younger sisters (Fun Fact: All of their names start with “Chris”). He has a passion for dancing, music, community building and bringing people together. Today, he works as a Strategist for a Silicon Valley-based startup, helping purpose-driven creators, coaches, and brands build communities.

  • Taran's Story

    Taran was raised in India by her strong father and her loving relatives till she was 11, and then was raised in Vancouver, Canada. She spent a vibrant life travelling and seeking truths of life and spirituality. Taran lived 2 years in Bali, and felt she was going to live there for the rest of her life there, but life had different plans. She retuned back to Vancouver and recreated a life of purpose through her practice as Registered Therapist. As some of you know already know, she enjoys dancing, connecting with community, spending time in nature with animals, and living the simple life.

  • Our Story

    They met in August 2020, one evening when Taran was walking Zen. Toper was blasting out music to get people interested for his human connection workshop. They connected over community, dance, spirituality, and personal development. They spent more time travelling and Taran and Toper felt the specialness of their union, and knew it was time. Now they are getting married and deepen their commitment towards each other, and the life they want to co create.
